Berthel Fisher & Company is a financial services holding company with two subsidiary broker/dealer firms servicing over 700 representatives across the U.S. We have an immediate opening for an Software Development Engineer.
Key responsibilities for this position include:
Managing the development and deployment of new applications, systems, software and / or enhancements to existing applications
Key Strategic Manager for planning, organizing, monitoring and controlling all aspects of the applications that make up the Company's software
Responsible for developing and maintaining standards of project planning and all application and system documentation
The successful candidate will have a BA/BS in Computer Science or related field with 8
years experience as a software developer and developing data-driven applications, 6
years experience building web based software systems. Experience with IIS Administration is required. Previous experience with : ASP.NET, .NET MVC and Web Forms, C#, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, HTML 5 , SQL, SOAP, SAML, Entity Framework, CSS.
Candidate should be proficient in developing and troubleshooting complex software systems, have the ability to work independently and with a small team, be extremely organized, and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
