Production Supervisor
Primary Responsibility:
Effectively coordinate with leadership to carryout strategic company plans with association to policies, procedures, culture and on time customer delivery of products.
Primary Duties:
Coordinate daily production activities within division of company production.
Maintain Production Schedule-to ensure Production goals/metrics are met.
Coordinate with Scheduling and Materials to ensure production is on schedule to meet customer needs.
Ensure Ship on Time objectives are met on a daily basis to meet customer expectations.
Monitor products as they move through the Production process.
Problem solve issues as they develop in order to maintain goals and objectives.
Coordinate with Scheduling, Sales, and External Services as needed, in relation to customer orders in process on the Production floor.
Identify training needs for builders and coordinate training efforts to ensure all employees meet minimum training expectations.
Coordinate with HR department to address personnel needs and issues as situations arise.
Ensure safety procedures are being followed and maintained on the production floor.
Assist in driving Continuous Improvement/5S activities/LEAN initiatives throughout Timberline Help carryout decisions that are associated with overall goals and objectives as stated in our company policies and as directed by Management Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
5 years supervisory/management experience with technical or manufacturing background preferred.
Previous experience with Continuous Improvement/5S activities/LEAN initiatives is preferred.
Strong working knowledge of all Microsoft product including Excel, Outlook, and Word required.
Must have strong communication skills to communicate with other employee owners, team leads, and production supervisors.
