Our client is seeking a Senior Automation Engineer who is proficient in PLC Ladder Logic Programming, HMI Programming, and has experience in project management.
This position is ideal for a self-starter who is excited to be a part of a dynamic team and take on multiple projects.
As a key part of our client's team, you will be developing and executing complex process control system integration projects while providing technical expertise and mentorship to less experienced team members.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute complex process control system integration projects.
Perform project deliverables independently while adhering to scope, schedule, and budget constraints.
Program, configure, test, and commission PLC and HMI based control systems.
Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) and provide knowledge and counsel to others.
Deliver technical expertise in the bid process.
Provide quality assessments of work performed by others.
Provide guidance and training to others with less experience through mentoring and project leadership.
Maintain professional client relationships.
Understand and follow all safety, conduct, and policy requirements established by the company and clients.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned or deemed necessary by management.
Required Skills &
Experience:
Proficient with PLC Ladder Logic Programming, HMI Programming Project Management experience Degree (BS or AS/AA) in Engineering (or related field) and 3
years of related work experience Demonstrated proficiency with the following:
electrical design, PLC ladder logic programming, HMI programming, computer programming, or commissioning.
Experience with the creation of new programming and documentation rather than maintaining systems developed by others.
Demonstrated understanding of complex electrical principles and advanced electrical troubleshooting skills.
Preferred Skills &
Experience:
Demonstrated proficiency with the use of AutoCAD Electrical.
Experience in the food, grain processing, seed, or other industrial process industries.
