The position of Electrical Designer II will be part of ESCO Groups' Electrical Design and Electrical Engineering teamand will be responsible for contributing as a design resource for external client project delivery.
This positionrequires a basic understanding of electrical theory.
OBJECTIVES YOU WILL MEETAs the Electrical Designer II, you will be responsible for providing technical services alongside a highly technicalteam.
Objectives include:
o Execute task-based panel design using pre-existing blocks and samples for reference.
o Execute project work with assistance from team for medium to large complexity projects.
o Participate in on-site panel audits led by Senior team members or electricians.
o Request quotes and place orders for electrical components.
o Independent creation of panel layouts, schematic drawings, and device lists, with review by other teammembers.
o Strong ability to self-direct and self-motivate, with ability to engage other resources as necessary.
o Understand functional differences between different networking media.
o Participate in design reviews and panel checkout process at the direction of Senior team members.
HOW YOU WILL MEET THOSE OBJECTIVESo Familiarity with Rockwell platform design.
o Basic knowledge of process and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) flow with ability to find and identifyindividual instruments.
o Independently modify redlines when presented with complex, often ambiguous information.
o Operate independently on smaller projects of low complexity.
o Familiarity with vendor representation of the common product lines that ESCO Group orders.
o Participate in kick-off meetings from design perspective to understand project design requirements.
o Travel to client sites and perform physical duties to implement, test, and commission automation systems.

Salary:
$31 per hour.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
